Contractor Qualifications (FDOT)
A certificate of qualifications has a limited duration, and cannot exceed 16 months since the end of the audited financial statements. Contractors are limited in the classes of work that they can bid for, and in their dollar “capacity” to contract with the Department, so that they cannot bid on contracts that exceed that capacity.
Williams Wilson & Sexton includes attorneys who have been actively
involved in contractor qualifications cases, both involving applications for
qualification and attempts to revoke certificates of qualification.
